Who is my grading specialist?

With HomeLife Learning, the parent or guardian is the student's teacher. Grading Specialists are staff who help the parent/teachers with grading the work your student turns in online. Your student can contact a grading specialist only if you have questions about grading or retakes. If your student needs help with a particular question or section within the course, you will ask for Concept Coaching under the Department section on our website's LiveChat form. If you need something unlocked or something is not working within the course, you must ask for help through our website, LiveChat.

In the iTeach† program, the parent or guardian isn't just the teacher but is also the grader.

In the iTeach program, there is a combination of system and completion grading; you do not have a designated grading specialist for this program. Instead, you can ask for help through our website, LiveChat.

In the myAssist Elementary program, you can find the name of each course's grading specialist by opening the course and clicking the circle titled Meet Your Grading Specialist.

To contact the grading specialist, email them directly from the Canvas-only messaging system.

If your student is in myAssist middle or high school courses, follow the steps below to find and contact the course grading specialist:

1. Log into the Edgenuity course.

2. Click on the Announcement tab with the megaphone icon (near the envelope icon).

3. Look through the list of grading specialists (by subject) for the grading specialist's name.

4. Go to the envelope icon to access the Edgenuity-only messaging system and send a message.
