Pacing is an essential tool designed to ensure students stay on track to meet their academic goals for the school year. It is important to note that following the pacing dates does not impact students' grades. Each of our Elementary courses in Canvas automatically establishes pacing for 16 weeks from the student's start date. For courses in Edgenuity and Ignitia, the pacing is calculated based on parents' or guardians' chosen start and end dates set during enrollment. All pacing configurations observe a five-day school week, automatically excluding a two-day weekend. If you are using our pacing tool and need to adjust your students’ pacing for vacations, holidays, or to provide additional time, we are here to assist you. We can easily extend the end date upon your request.
